A. Document and File Data (On-Device Processing)
Local Storage & Camera: Our app allows you to view, scan, edit, sign, and convert documents. All documents, scanned images, and signatures are processed locally on your device.
We do NOT upload, store, or view your private documents, scanned papers, or digital signatures on external servers without your explicit action.
B. Device and Usage Data (Automatically Collected)
To maintain app stability and improve user experience, we may collect certain non-personally identifiable information automatically:
Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version.
App crashes, performance logs, and error diagnostics.
Basic interaction metrics (e.g., features accessed, session duration).
To provide key features, DocuMaster PDF requests the following Android permissions:
Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Required for scanning physical documents, receipts, or notes via the document scanner feature.
Storage / Photos & Media (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES): Required to open, edit, save, and export PDF files and convert images to PDF on your device.
Internet (android.permission.INTERNET): Required to load standard diagnostic logs, crash reports, and third-party advertising/analytics SDKs (if applicable).
You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time via your device's System Settings.
We may integrate third-party SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, and service improvement. These third parties may collect information used to identify your device in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

The security of your personal data is critical to us. We implement industry-standard practices:
All document processing is kept local to your device sandbox.
Password-protected PDF files utilize standard PDF encryption protocols.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your document contents or personal information with any third party.
DocuMaster PDF is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take immediate corrective measures.
You have complete control over your data:
Since files are stored locally on your device, deleting the file or uninstalling the app permanently deletes all associated local documents and cached data.
If you have any inquiries regarding diagnostic data or wish to request data deletion, you may contact us directly via email.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
