Privacy Policy

Documan is an iOS app developed by Sukhjinder Singh. The app lets you store, view, and organise documents on your device.

Documan does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. We have no servers. All documents and app data stay entirely on your device.

We do not have access to any files you import, store, or manage within the app.

All data Documan stores remains local to your device:

• Documents you import (PDFs, images, Word files, etc.) are stored in the app's private storage and optionally in a shared App Group container to support the Share Extension.

• App preferences (display settings, sort order, etc.) are stored in UserDefaults on your device.

• Document thumbnails are generated locally and stored on your device for faster display.

If you delete the app, all data stored by Documan is permanently removed from your device.

When you use the Documan Share Extension to import files from other apps, those files are transferred directly from the source app to Documan's local storage on your device. No data passes through any server.

Documan may request access to your camera (for scanning documents) and your photo library (for importing images). This access is used only to let you select or capture files to import. No photos or scans are uploaded or shared.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Documan.

Documan offers in-app purchases, those transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

Documan is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
