International informal networking opportunity has huge benefits to business researchers. Unfortunately, there is a lack of related initiatives with specific theme to facilitate networking in a dynamic atmosphere. Although there are many academic conferences or industrial seminars, they are not aiming to support the researchers’ holistic development. On the other hand, many higher education institutions have offered internal mental health and related support to students and staffs, however, they are not aiming to facilitate networking or international cultural exchanges.
This pioneering initiative provides an international and informal networking opportunity for researchers to recharge and develop themselves. This is important not only because healthier and happier researchers are more productive, effective and engaged, but also informal social networks among organisations help fostering greater performance, learning and innovation. In addition, the benefits in terms of business and careers opportunities bringing from this initiative to researchers will be lifelong.
