This Privacy Policy describes how the Doc Tools app ("the App") handles information on your device.
- The App processes documents, images, and PDFs locally on your device.
- The App does not collect personal data or transmit your content to our servers.
- Crash and performance data may be collected via Firebase Crashlytics (if you enable it by adding `google-services.json`).
- Document and media files you open within the App are processed locally in order to provide features such as PDF generation, image compression, and conversions.
- Temporary files may be created in the App-specific storage and are removed when no longer needed.
- File access: The app uses the Android Storage Access Framework (SAF) system pickers. Users explicitly choose files/folders; the app does not declare broad storage permissions.
- On Android 10 and above, the App uses scoped storage, the Storage Access Framework (SAF), and MediaStore to access files you select.
- The App uses a `FileProvider` to securely share files with other apps when you choose to export/share.
- The App does not collect analytics or crash data.
- If analytics or crash reporting is introduced in a future update, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety disclosures will be updated before release.
- The App does not sell personal information.
- The App does not share your documents with third parties. Crash data (if enabled) is sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google) for diagnostics.
- The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
- You can control app permissions from Android Settings.
- You may remove crash reporting by removing the Firebase configuration file and dependencies.
- Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly share it using Android share features.
