Terms of Service for Doc Summarizer Add-on

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using our Doc Summarizer Add-on (the “Add-on”). By using the Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Add-on.

Use of the Add-on

The Add-on is designed to provide you with an efficient and effective way to summarize your documents. You may use the Add-on for personal or commercial purposes, provided that you comply with these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Add-on and all intellectual property rights in and to the Add-on are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Add-on or its underlying technology, or use the Add-on for any purpose other than as expressly authorized by these Terms.

User Content

You are solely responsible for any content you upload or submit for summarization using the Add-on. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit the content for summarization and that the content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE ADD-ON WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE ADD-ON WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE ADD-ON, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE ADD-ON WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR THE ADD-ON.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Add-on, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate these Terms or your access to the Add-on at any time and for any reason. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Add-on and delete all copies of the Add-on in your possession.

Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United States of America. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Add-on will be brought exclusively in United States of America, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Your continued use of the Add-on following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
