Your privacy is extremely important to us. DocReminder is designed to store your data locally on your device, without requiring any account or personal information.
1. No Account Required — No Personal Data Collected
DocReminder does not require:
signing up
creating an account
providing any personal information
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or phone number.
All data you input into the app remains entirely on your device.
2. Local Data Storage
The app stores the following information only on your device, using local storage (SharedPreferences):
Document names
Expiration dates
Document categories
Notification settings
These entries are never uploaded, never synced, and never shared with any server.
3. Push Notifications via OneSignal
DocReminder uses OneSignal to send push notifications.
Device identifiers for push notifications (Push Token)
Device model and system version
App version
Notification interactions (opened, received, etc.)
OneSignal does not access or receive your document information, expiration dates, or anything you store locally.

4. Advertising via Google AdMob
DocReminder uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob may collect data for personalized or non-personalized advertising, including:
Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
Device information
Interaction with ads
Cookies or similar technologies
Users can modify their ad-tracking preferences via their device settings.

5. No Analytics Tracking
DocReminder does not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any other analytics tool.
We do not monitor user activity inside the app.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or distribute any personal data, since none is collected.
However, limited technical data may be shared automatically with:
Google AdMob (for advertising)
OneSignal (for push notifications)
No document-related data is ever transmitted.
7. Security
Since all data is stored locally:
Users remain fully in control of their information
We cannot access your stored documents
We recommend protecting your device with a passcode, fingerprint, or face recognition
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this document.
