Where processing is performed locally on your device, your documents remain on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
If a particular feature requires online processing, the relevant document or text may be securely transmitted to our servers or a third-party service provider necessary to provide that feature.
Document Reader may provide AI-powered features such as rewriting, improving, or transforming text.
When you choose to use an AI feature, the text or document content required to perform that request may be transmitted to our AI service provider.
The information is processed only to provide the requested AI functionality.
We recommend that you do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, financial, medical, password, or other private information to AI features unless you are comfortable with that information being processed.
Google Play's current User Data guidance specifically applies to third-party AI integrations, so your actual AI data flow should match what you disclose here and in the Play Data Safety form.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App.
When information is transmitted over the internet, we use appropriate security measures such as encrypted connections where supported.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

For example, access may be required when you choose to:
Import a document
Open a file
Convert a document
Compress a document

We request only permissions necessary for the functionality provided by the App.

Where applicable, information may therefore be transferred and processed internationally in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
