Document Reader allows you to open, view, convert, compress, edit, and manage files such as PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, and TXT.
Documents selected by you may be accessed by the App solely to provide the requested functionality.
Where processing is performed directly on your device, your files remain on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Our App may provide AI-powered rewriting and text improvement features.
When you use an AI Rewrite feature, the text you choose to process may be transmitted to our AI service provider or servers in order to generate the requested response.
Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information through AI features unless you are comfortable with it being processed for this purpose.
We do not use your documents or AI requests to identify you personally unless required to provide the service or comply with applicable law.
We may collect limited technical and usage information to improve the App, troubleshoot problems, and understand how users interact with our features.
This information may include:
Device type
Operating system version
App version
General usage events
Crash and diagnostic information
Performance information
General language or region settings
We do not intentionally collect the contents of your personal documents for analytics purposes.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as:
Passwords contained in your documents

However, information contained within a document may be processed when you explicitly use a feature that requires access to that document.

The AI features are designed to help you rewrite, improve, summarize, or modify text.
When you submit text to an AI feature:
The text you select is sent for AI processing when required.
The AI service processes the submitted content.
The generated response is returned to the App.
The App displays the result to you.
We recommend removing confidential or highly sensitive information before using AI-powered features.
Document Reader may offer auto-renewable subscriptions or other in-app purchases.
All payments for purchases made through the App are processed by Apple through the App Store payment system. We do not directly receive or store your credit card or payment details.
Your subscription is managed through your Apple account and Apple App Store settings.

If the App displays advertisements, advertising providers may collect certain information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Documents processed locally on your device remain subject to your device's storage and operating-system controls.
Where documents or text are processed through third-party services, retention may be subject to the applicable provider's policies and technical practices.
Document Reader is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to providing the App's services.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
Depending on your device and the features you use, you may be able to:
Delete documents from your device
Control App permissions through iOS Settings
Disable optional notifications
Manage tracking permissions through iOS
Manage your subscription through your Apple account
Stop using AI features
Delete the App from your device
Some third-party service providers we use may process information on servers located outside your country.
Where applicable, information may therefore be transferred to and processed in other countries in accordance with applicable data-protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
