DocOp: PDF Vault & Scanner
DocOp: PDF Vault & Scanner
Last Updated: 1/7/2026
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how DocOp ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information when you use our Android application.
DocOp is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal documents, PDFs, or scanned images to any external servers.
All document processing, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), happens 100% locally on your device using on-device machine learning (Google ML Kit). Your files remain on your phone unless you explicitly choose to share them using the in-app sharing features.
To provide our core features, DocOp requests the following device permissions:
Camera: Used strictly for scanning physical documents to convert them into PDFs or images. We do not record video or take photos in the background.
Storage (Read/Write): Used to browse your existing PDFs, save new scans, and store encrypted files in your Vault.

Terms of Service for DocOp
Last Updated: 1/7/2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DocOp mobile application (the "Service"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
DocOp provides tools to scan, read, manage, and secure PDF documents locally on your Android device. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Because DocOp operates locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up your data.
App Lock & Vault: If you use the App Lock or Vault features, you are responsible for remembering your PIN. While we provide a security question recovery method, if you forget your PIN and security answers, we cannot recover your encrypted documents for you.
Data Loss: We are not liable for any loss of data, documents, or files resulting from device failure, uninstallation of the app without backup, or forgotten PINs.
In no event shall DocOp, nor its developers, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
