Venue

The workshop will take place at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari at the Palazzo delle Scienze, via Ospedale 72, 09124 Cagliari.

The Department is located on a small hill in the city center of Cagliari and can be reached by feet (but it is very steep and could be tough) or by bus:

Bus n.8 (the most frequent) from the bus stops "Largo Carlo Felice" or "Piazza Yenne" to the stop "Ospedale (clinica Macciotta)";

Bus n.7 from the bus stop "Piazza Yenne" to the stop "Ospedale (clinica Macciotta)".

The bus tickets can be purchased via the official app BusFinder (https://www.ctmcagliari.it/busfinder/) or in several bar or in the tobacco shops (look for "tabacchino" on google maps) in the city center.

Accommodation

There are several lodging possibilities Cagliari. A (non exhaustive) list of possible lodging solutions close to the department and the city center is:

We recommend to book the room as soon as possible since Cagliari is a touristic destination and May can be a busy month for hotels and B&B.

Reaching Cagliari

The Cagliari Airport is connected to more than 80 cities in Europe and it is only 10 minutes by train to the city center.

Once arrived at the Arrival terminal follow the directions to the airport train station where it is possible to purchase the train ticket to the Cagliari train station in the automatic machines.
