Do I Have To Download _VERIFIED_ The Ea App To Play Sims 4

I really want to get into a Sims game as seeing some friends play a little bit they seem really fun ! I have heard a lot of people say their favourite one is the Sims 3. Now I dont know if that's because there is nostalgia/storylines or features that mean this, but as someone who has never tried any of them before, would I be losing out to go for Sims 4 over Sims 3 ? Like, apparently there is lore behind different Sims? My friend was telling me. I thought that every Sim you met was randomly generated and didn't have any prior backstory at all ! Would this then mean I would be confused playing Sims 4 first?

When im watching a stream, or a youtube video on the Sims. It really makes me want to play the game, but when I finally decide to do so.. I get bored after making my sim. I just dont know what to do, and where to begin. I dont think ive ever played a full in game week, because I find my self struggling with having no objective(?)

I have played this game over a dozen times now, and each time I try to just play the game, I'm forced to sign into origin. Why is that? I was told by phone that after a couple of plays I wouldn't have to sign in any more. It's really becoming annoying. Anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks.

I can understand the first time you play, to have to sign into Origin, but every time I want to play is ridiculous! It's an offline game with online options. I like to play Sims 4 when my internet goes down, but I can't because of this... I miss the days when an offline game was an offline game. I don't know if I would have bought Sims 4 knowing it required internet connection to play. I won't be buying any more DLC's knowing this. I have offline games that are truly offline I would rather invest in for the days my internet is down.

I have no experience with gaming on PC, but want to buy my daughter laptop. She wants to play Minecraft and Sims 3. I found some page, but it says I need "2.4 GHz" CPU. Which is usually not an option. It also says that it should be P4, so I guess it's older CPU, so I can use something slower (in terms of GHz), but more modern.

Minecraft is however an oddball as far as graphics options, it can be tuned down to run on almost any newer computer, or turned up high enough to require a PC designed for gaming. One unfortunate fact is that one of the biggest performance adjustment is render distance - and this can have a huge effect on game play. Tiny render will run on almost any machine, but playing on Tiny is a vastly different game than Far.

So as a minimum? An i5 (maybe an i3), integrated graphics, and 2GB of RAM will run the game well enough to play, but with some minimal frustration. However if you wish to avoid that frustration I would recommend at least an i5 and at least 4GB of RAM and discrete graphics. The exact graphics card isn't very important, any discrete card should be able to run Minecraft fine.

The game can actually run on much less, however lag spikes, low frame rates, and various other issues arise as a result. Many things in the game can cause sudden reductions in frame rate - if you can pull 100 FPS then dropping to 50 isn't a big deal, but if you barely can manage 20 a drop to 10 will make the game nearly unplayable.

I was looking in the game for a way to track time played.

IE: Week # / Day # but only see the day of week and time of day. Will this part of record keeping play a part in the challenge at all? I am still figuring out how the game plays. Not quite ready for this challenge yet.

Oh and I noticed plumbing like toilets and sinks no longer require a wall for placement. Might save a few beginning Simoleons with that.

There is one other way of doing this.. That is by going into mange Households and enter Cas and then just click on the female and change the last name of the sim you want to change and then save and play as nomaral and also you will have to do this for each spouse.

I have not officially started this challenge in Sims4 yet. But I did run a test starting one Sim on an empty lot. Unable to decrease funds I opted to just work with whatever they had after moving into the lot. My Sim went to a park to use the grill for food. I also could cook a meal on a residential lot without being chased off. Plates of food will keep in personal inventory for a while before spoiling so he could put the rest there for later. Even with only a toilet, sink and bed my Sim could tend to their needs without any issues. Keep in mind this was a test and not be strict Legacy rules. But the point is it can be done with very minimal furnishings in the open with Zero walls.

I have just started the Legacy challenge, this is the first time I have heard of it, and it is awesome! I was just wondering, if your non-founder spouse dies before your founder reaches old age, can your founder marry again? Thanks again!

I always recommend you put a Legacy Challenge on its own saved game. If you want to explore the game with other families, you can absolutely make a different saved game and alter the lifespan length. Just make sure to turn it back to normal when you return to playing your Legacy family.

I think I read this somewhere.. but cannot find it now.. While doing the Legacy Challenge, do you only play as the Founder/future heirs? And do you start playing as the heir once they reach young adult?

Stupid question #2 on spouses. I know I can move in legacy loves from the gallery. Is it allowed to move them into the neighbor with an established household (Spencer-Kim-Lewis for example) and have my sims visit their neighbors to meet their spouse? 17dc91bb1f
