The Doable Neighbourhood Project was launched in 2014 by the Town of Cochrane and 8-80 Cities. Focus groups, surveys, and activities were conducted to determine the needs and desires of the community when it came to reshaping infrastructure to support active transportation such as walking and cycling as well as promoting the use of existing parks and public spaces.

In it's current form, the Doable Neighbourhood Project provides a Bike Share, a Book Share, Watercraft Rental, and Snowshoe/Ski Rental, Slip and Slide, and s Pop-Up Piano. The ultimate goal of the DNP is to provide low-cost, high-impact active programming that is beneficial for the whole community.
