MANPOWER PLANNING & TRAINING
Humans are considered as the most crucial, volatile and potentially unpredictable resource which an organization utilizes. Manpower planning is a process in which we attempt to estimate the demand for employees and workers and evaluate the size, nature and sources of supply which will be required to meet that demand. Also we seek to make the links between strategy, structure and people more explicit. It is a two-phased process because it not only analyze the current human resources but also makes manpower forecasts and thereby draws employment programs. While drawing such programs we take into consideration the total corporate plan together with issues like technology, competition, legislation and regulation by the government plus changing social norms and expectations which affect people’s employment. Furthermore we take some of the actions to prevent employee turnover include management training in order to capture warning of job dissatisfaction and periodic workplace evaluation of satisfaction. We consider Training as the activity in manpower planning intended to enhance the skill, knowledge and capacities of the personnel. our training program is an continuous process that molds the thinking of employees and leads to their quality performance.
