If you think you may have Storm damage weather it be from wind or hail, it is important to make sure that you get an inspection from local reputable and trained professional to inspect your roof prior to filing a claim. Once it is determined that you do indeed have damage you should call your insurance agent. Once you have done so there are 5 steps to getting your claim processed and completed:
1. Your insurance company will assign you a claim number and send out an adjuster to assess the damage for themselves on behalf of your insurance company.
Once you have received the day and time the adjuster will be arriving to inspect the property, inform your DNA Representative so they can be there to meet with the adjuster. This is to ensure the scope of loss is in line with our agreement that if there is anything they have missed and so that your adjuster has met all the roofing codes and guidelines according to your municipality.

YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE MONEY TO YOUR CONTRACTOR UNTIL WORK HAS BEGUN !
2. Your representative will use your Scope of Loss from your insurer to determine what the contracted work will be. This will be drafted on an agreement and signed by both you and your representative. DNA Roofing & Gutter Solutions LLC. will work with your insurance company to make sure the Scope of Work is completed and includes all code related items you may need.
3. DNA will complete all work agreed upon the agreement set forth.
ONCE WORK HAS BEGUN YOUR DNA REPRESENTATIVE WILL COLLECT YOUR ACV CHECK FOR THE WORK THAT HAS BEGUN. PLEASE NOTE: ACV CHECKS WILL REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FROM A MORTGAGE COMPANY. NO WORK CAN BE SCHEDULED UNTIL THIS CHECK HAS BEEN ENDORSED AND IS READY TO HAND OVER TO DNA THE DAY WORK BEGINS.
4.. Once the work has been completed DNA will send a final invoice to your insurer for the agreed upon amount letting them know that work has been completed. If you have an RCV( Replacment Cost Value ) Policy any depreciated funds that were not provided at the beginning of the process will be released to you in a second check, Supplemental amounts will be included.
5. Once you have received the final check from your insurer contact your DNA Representative and either he or she will come by with a copy of your Workmanship warranty.
