Welcome to the webpage for the Innovation Academy DNA Club and the Centennial DNA Club archive. We hope you enjoy looking at our current and former projects .

DNA Club was formed in 2018 at Centennial High School in Roswell, GA as a way to showcase the work of student independent biology research. The club's new home is Innovation Academy STEM school in Alpharetta, GA.

Club Goals:

  1. Provide high school students the chance to perform high level, biology research through collaboration and intrinsic motivation

  2. Experience long term, open ended biology research projects inspired by professional science and wonder

  3. Exposure to research methodology across multiple scales

  4. Collect and analyze scientific data in order to investigate a scientific problem

  5. Contribute to the scientific discovery process and present findings to peers and public through poster symposium and potential publication

We hope you will take a look around at what we have done in the past and what we have coming up.

If you are a teacher and your students are doing like-minded research, we would love to engage and share ideas with you.
