AuraaByte ("we," "our," or "us") provides the DMV Permit Test USA 2026 mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use our App.
DMV Permit Test USA 2026 is an independent educational prep tool developed by AuraaByte. We are not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Department of Transportation (DOT), or any other government agency. All test preparation materials, road signs, and practice questions are compiled from publicly available official driver handbooks for educational reference only.
a. Information You Store Locally
Test Preferences & Progress: Your selected state, vehicle category (Car, Motorcycle, CDL), test completion scores (Pass/Fail history), and saved/bookmarked favorite questions are stored locally on your device.
We do not require account registration, and we do not collect personal identifiers like your real name, physical address, or phone number.
b. Automatically Collected Information To ensure stability and display advertisements, the App may automatically collect non-personally identifiable technical information through third-party SDKs:
Device details (device model, operating system version, screen resolution).
Anonymous usage statistics and crash logs.
General, non-precise location (such as country or state level, inferred from IP address) to assist with state-specific test defaults and ad localization.
Mobile advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / IDFA).
The App may utilize third-party services that collect information used to identify your device, serve ads, and measure performance:
Google Play Services: Core platform utilities and performance diagnostics.

Save your learning progress, bookmarks, and quiz settings between sessions.

Local Data: Test scores, saved questions, and vehicle/state selections are retained in your device’s local application storage. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's data/cache in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Aggregated Diagnostics: Anonymized analytics and crash reports collected by third parties are retained per those vendors' standard data retention schedules.
Our App is intended for individuals preparing for learner's permits and driver's licenses (typically aged 14 and older, depending on state licensing laws). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove it.
