What is Theatre Arts?
What is Theatre Arts?
Theatre Arts is a fast paced, energetic, participation class. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in several performance projects throughout the semester. Students will be expected to work independently and in teacher assigned group projects. There is something for everyone in Drama! From performing, to designing, to writing scripts, students can always find something to connect to in this class.

About the Director
Ms. Fono has worked as a theatrical educator with students ranging from elementary age to college students and early career actors, helping them to find their footing as theatre makers, ace their auditions, and expand themselves as artists. She is currently in her 6th year of teaching and got her start as a program director in Katy ISD in her homewtown of Katy, Texas. Addtionally, she has served as part of the team of the Professional Training Program at Williamstown Theatre Festival. She is so excited to be starting a Theatre Program at Dana Middle School!
