Workshop will be held at the conference venue on July 7th, 2026, the day before the official opening of the conference. Advanced registration for pre-conference workshops can be done online via the conference registration system.
Please note that workshops are:
(a) subject to cancellation for lack of registrants
(b) allow a maximum number of participants.
In mid-May, proposers and registrants will be notified whether a minimum number of registrations has been achieved for their specific workshop. Registrants of canceled workshops will be given the possibility to register to another workshop at no additional cost, or to be refunded the original registration fee.
The workshop targets graduate students, researchers, and practitioners in control, robotics, optimization, and networked systems. A basic familiarity with MPC and constrained optimization is beneficial but not required; talks will include sufficient background to make the main ideas accessible. Consequently, graduate students and junior researchers are a crucial part of our target audience. However, the workshop may also be of interest to more senior researchers.
ECC26 will take place at the University of Iceland, including Háskólabíó, a part of the university campus. Located in the heart of Reykjavík, the University of Iceland is the country’s leading educational institution, offering a dynamic academic environment. Háskólabíó, a modern conference and cultural venue, provides excellent facilities for events, all within easy reach of downtown Reykjavík and its many attractions.
