Learn how we're keeping people safe on our COVID-19 page
D & M has taken measures to ensure that we are not spreading COVID-19 through our workers, books, clients, or other. Here's how we're doing it:
In order to keep contact to a minimum, we are reducing the staff who sort and deliver the graphic novels and magazines.
Each and every book that is returned to our library is being well-sanitized and is taken out of circulation until any potential bacteria has been killed. Although this will cause our service to be slightly slower, we are doing this in the interest of safety. The books will be back in the running before you know it!
We are shying away from in-person contact, such as book drop-off, pick-up, and other such occurrences. In the few situations where in-person contact is required, we are keeping this brief, safe, and outdoors.
Please be patient with any delay that may occur. We are doing our best to provide efficient service while being safe.
We're extremely lucky to be in the places we are right now. We want to help others. 5% of all proceeds will be going towards helping communities living in poverty and communities that were hit especially hard by COVID-19. We hope to soon be able to provide a list of charities.
Eventually, we hope to be able to donate to places around the world with non-ideal education and/or limited access to books.
