About Us

The District Mineral Foundation (DMF), Gadchiroli has been established in accordance with the provisions of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2015, and functions as a statutory trust under the administrative control of the District Administration, Gadchiroli. The Foundation’s primary mandate is to work for the welfare and development of persons and areas affected by mining activities, ensuring that the benefits derived from the district’s mineral wealth are equitably shared with local communities, especially those living in mining-affected and tribal regions.

To ensure equitable and sustainable development of mining-affected regions by transforming mineral wealth into lasting social, economic, and environmental gains for the people of Gadchiroli district.

To implement need-based and people-centric development programmes that enhance the quality of life in mining-affected regions through focused interventions in health, education, livelihoods, infrastructure, and environment.
