The app is built for users who want a clean step counter without advertising, user accounts, cloud sync, GPS tracking or unnecessary distractions. Your step data and settings stay locally on your device.
Private by design
CleanStep does not require registration, does not use advertising, does not use external analytics services and does not send step or usage data to Di Mauro Digital Media.
Android Auto Backup is disabled for CleanStep, so app data is not automatically included in cloud backups by the app.

CleanStep does not use GPS, heart rate data or elevation data.
