Tram/bus stop: Lipová
There is a limited number of double rooms available. The price for a bed from 28 June until 5 July is 180 EUR pp., to be paid upon arrival by card or cash (in the case of the latter, bring the equivalent in CZK).
How to get from the dormitory to the faculty
The easiest way to the faculty is to take bus 25 or 26 from Lipová (see map above) to Úvoz and then walk another cca. 5 minutes down Gorkého street.
An alternative way is to take tram 1 to Hlavní Nádraží (main train station) and then take tram 12 from there to Grohová.
Bus and tram tickets can easily bought on board by card. A single trip should be 25 CZK. At the end of the day, the sum of your tickets should not exceed the day price of 90 CZK.
How to get to Brno
If you are arriving by plane:
It is recommended to fly to Vienna airport and then take either a bus (regiojet, flixbus, gepard express) or train (öbb, české dráhy) to Brno. This will take approximately 1,5h - 2h30 hours, depending on the time and means of transport.
Alternatively, it is also possible to fly to Prague airport and then take the train (české dráhy) to Brno. This will take approximately 2,5h to 3h. Warning: the airport shuttle bus from Prague airport to Prague station does not go late in the evening.
