The gambling industry is a big business in Spain. According to a new report from the National Commission for Market and Competition, gambling and sports betting are the leaders in all other areas of electronic commerce.

According to the Spanish National Commission for Market and Competition (CNMC), the economic activities of gambling and betting in Spain are characteristic in further trade with e-commerce. That makes it much bigger than restaurants and shopping malls.
CNMC's report is based on data from the third quarter of last year. At this time, the country made 284 million transactions in the gaming sector. That's a 10% increase from last year's period.
