Greatly inspired by Lasallian ideals, De La Salle John Bosco College believes in the Divine Providence and upholds the values of human dignity, social justice and responsibility, sense of national identity and culture, in integrity of creation and competence.

VISION - MISSION OF DLSJBC LIBRARIES

The DLSJBC ILRC is the center of academic research, supports the instructional learning, curriculum, creativity, and extension programs by providing adequate print and non-print materials, electronic technologies and quality services most appropriate in their growth and development.

GOAL

To provide a diverse Lasallian community with materials that reflect a wide range of instructional, reference needs and interests. As such, a library plays a major role in the teaching-learning process of quality Lasallian education.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The primary objective of the library is to provide a source for the essential knowledge and information needed to support the academe programs and activities of the institution as it strive to achieve the goal of the institution according to Christian ideals and national needs.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Provision the pupils, students, faculty, staff and administrators with well-chosen and well-organized collection of books, periodicals and other instructional materials;
Teach skills in the effective and independent use of the library and its materials and facilities;
Maintain an efficient and up-to-date collection that caters to the needs of the pupils, students and faculty;
Promote and encouraged reading not only for classroom work but also for personal enjoyment, growth and development;
Participate in the achievement of over-all goal of the school to provide a catholic Filipino Lasallian education to its clientele; and
Participate in the local and regional levels cooperative effort/ resource sharing to promote knowledge instruction and research.
