This project involved the detailed design of precast wall panels for a five-story commercial building using TEKLA software. My responsibility was to analyze the results of structural analysis and translate them into detailed specifications for specific wall panels. This included defining the:
Shape: Overall geometry and configuration of the panels
Section: Dimensions and material properties of the panels
Reinforcement: Steel elements embedded in the panels for structural strength
Electrical requirements: Conduits, boxes, and other features for electrical systems
This project allowed me to demonstrate my proficiency in:
Structural analysis interpretation: Understanding and applying the results of structural calculations.
Construction detailing: Creating clear and concise specifications for construction purposes.

These are compilations of metal structures I worked on including Bolt-on-Decks, Railings, Privacy Panel, Trellises, Metal Screen, and Sunshades/Canopy. I was tasked with detailing a variety of metal-designed structures that met different:
Post conditions: This refers to the connection points of the metal-designed structures to the building structure.
Material specifications: I explored different materials like metal, glass, mesh, and perforated panels ensuring they were compatible with the building's aesthetics and structural requirements.
Design Criteria: The metal structures complied with either the International Building Code (IBC) 2015 or the California Building Code (CBC) 2019, depending on the location of the project.
