Diana Laura Morales

I am currently a Data Science graduate intern at LLNL.

In the Fall of 2024, I will start my Electrical Engineering PhD program at the University of California Irvine (UCI). I am interested in instrumentation, circuit design, and signal processing research to explore natural phenomena.

Nice to Meet You

I am a first-generation Latina from East Los Angeles. My interest in STEM began at Belvedere Middle School through the STEM club and Viva Technology program. Later, I co-founded an FRC team and STEAM club at Esteban E. Torres High School with my best friend.

In undergrad, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics (Fall'23) and Electrical Engineering (Fall'23) out of a love and curiosity for both fields. Through internships and research experiences, I have honed my passion for electrical engineering research with applications that explore natural phenomena.

I enjoy jogging on sunny days, journaling, and playing with Photoshop. I also have a passion for music of all genres and play the acoustic guitar.
