Instructions for presenters

All presenters are invited to include the DLBCN logo in their slides or posters., available here in a variety of formats and colours.

Talks

  • The duration of the regular (non-keynote) talks is 10 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions.

  • Come to the front of your assigned auditorium 20 minutes for the start of your session to check the set up with the session chair and technical staff.

  • The slides can be projected in three different ways (only one is needed, others may be useful as back ups):

    1. Share a link to your slides from this form. Formats supported: Google Slides, Microsoft Powerpoint or PDF. (recommended)

    2. Bring your own laptop and connect to our beamer with an HDMI port.

    3. Join a GMeet call with your laptop/tablet/smartphone and share your slides from there. Your session chair will provide the URL for the GMeet call two days by Friday 16th December.

Posters

  • The poster boards are of 144 cm height and 92 cm width, fitting A0 posters with vertical (portrait) orientation (118.9 x 84.1 cm). However, we also have a few boards of 115 cm height and 146 cm width, fitting A0 posters with horizontal orientation (84.1 x 118.9 cm), for those authors that already have the poster made in horizontal orientation. In order to estimate if we will have enough horizontal boards for those who need them, we would kindly ask you to express your needs by answering this form. (Pins will be provided).

  • Set up your poster at least 10 minutes before the start of your poster session, and remove it when the poster session ends.
