DK WiFi Survey Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
Operator: DK Lab
DK WiFi Survey ("the App") does not collect personal information.
1. Information we collect
The App does not send any information to us or to third parties. It has no server and does not connect to the internet. It uses no advertising, analytics or tracking.
2. Information handled on your device
To provide its features, the App handles the following only on your iPhone:
- Wi-Fi readings: network name (SSID), BSSID, signal strength, noise, channel, link rate and similar values, obtained through Apple's Shortcuts app
- Network settings: IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS servers (shown on screen, not stored)
- Content you create or import: location notes, floor plan images, walls and labels you draw, and measurement history
This data is stored on your device and is deleted when you delete the App. It may be included in your iPhone backups according to your iOS settings.
3. Camera and photos
The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to capture or import a floor plan, or to save a heatmap image. The App requests add-only access to your photo library and never reads your existing photos (except the one you pick to import).
4. Export and sharing
CSV and image export or sharing happens only when you choose it. Shared files are handled under the terms of the service you share them with.
5. In-app purchase
Purchases and payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment information.
6. Children
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the update on this page.
