My research areas are:
Technologies for digital libraries: Include machine learning, NLP and information retrieval for better engagement of users with digital libraries.
My current focus areas are
topic modeling,
knowledge graphs,
fine-grained information extraction from scholarly papers and summarization of papers,
sign language processing
Here are the research highlights of my recent works in digital libraries, AI/ML.
Mobile communications: Include different facets of wireless networks, especially issues in the MAC and network layers.
We have primarily worked on 3 areas (1) game-theoretic algorithms to improve performance of ad-hoc wireless networks, (2) topology-transparent scheduling in ad-hoc wireless networks, and (3) device-to-device communication in cellular networks.
