12 Angry Jurors
Twelve Angry Jurors is a show about 12 jurors discussing the case of a 19 year-old boy who seems to have murdered his father. While everyone is ready to vote the boy guilty and "send him to the chair", Juror 8 insists they discuss if he is actually guilty.
We prioritized a monochromatic color scheme to show a characters "black and white thinking". Most of the costumes have some pop of red to represent the passion, anger, and energy of the characters.
A Midsummer Nights Dream
A Midsummer Night's dream is a Shakespearean classic following The Athenians, Faries, and Mechanicals as their stories overlap and entertwine in a commedic romance.
The director wanted the setting to be in Athens during the Renaissance with a fantasy twist, so I took inspiration from the fashions of the Ottoman empire, which Athens was under rule of at this time.
Renderings
The desgin of the Fairies within midsummer are intensional with thier color schemes depicting thier rank and role within the fairykingdom. Titanias and Oberons designs are inspired by Luna and Atlas moths, with their respective entourage having a matching color scheme. Shades of Yellow depict those who work as the queens guard, pinks and purples for higher ranking speakers, and amossy green for our "fairy-in-training". Puck and Oberon have color schemes and patterns that match to show their close relationship and how much Oberon relies on Puck.
