Hi, I'm Debbie! I love glass

Throughout my life, I've always created things for my own home. Having very eclectic taste, finding something I really love within my budget constraints is difficult.

As those who know me can affirm, for the past decade I've had an interest in fused glass, but until recently my ability to create at will has been limited.  

My obsession with glass started with an art fair in which a local fused glass shop was participating.  I took a comprehensive class over a series of months, learned the basics and then started to create.  My problem, I was at the mercy of the glass shop for scheduling "kiln time".  When the pandemic hit, I was totally out of luck for a while.  I could plan, cut & assemble at home, but I couldn't get anything fired. Throw into the timeline a couple of hurricanes, cleanup, a new puppy (they're time consuming), then a move out of state and my glass output for a  time was limited.

With all of that behind me and a new house with plenty of design & kiln space, one of the first purchases for the house was a kiln of my own. Since making that investment, I now find that I'm so full of ideas and excitement about trying new techniques that my kiln runs often and I have items to share, thus the new Facebook page and this website.
