Communication / Publicity / Yearbook/ Technology/ Website 

Committee members will collect area news for Chapter newsletter and contact members  in case of emergency. They will send a chapter newsletter to chapter members and state  personnel at least one week before each meeting. The publication will include news from  International and State publications as well as chapter news. They will also write  articles and provide pictures to area newspapers of any newsworthy actions by club  members. Committee members will prepare and make available an updated chapter  yearbook each fall and submit the yearbook to state personnel as directed by state  yearbook committee.

Committee members will review dues, submit budget, and provide for audits.

Membership / Necrology / Nominations 

Committee members will accept recommendations for new members, conduct balloting,  assist with orientation, and keep files of member biographical data. Committee members will present a slate of officers for election at the end of each biennium.

Education Excellence / Professional Enrichment 

The purpose of this committee is to provide opportunities for personal improvement and  growth of members and to provide opportunities for community service. They will also  provide opportunities for professional improvement and growth of members and to  provide information about impending legislation.

Scholarship / Achievement Awards 

Committee members will cooperate with the State Scholarship committee, publicize  availability of State and International scholarships, help raise funds for chapter  scholarships and select recipient of chapter grant-in-aid. This committee will also  determine the recipient of the Chapter Achievement Award to be announced at the May  meeting at the end of each biennium.

World Fellowship / Eula Lee Carter / Global Awareness 

Members will make chapter aware of Society’s work done through World Fellowship and  Eula Lee Carter Memorial Fund and conduct small fundraisers at meetings to provide  money to donate to World Fellowship Fund and Eula Lee Carter Memorial Fund.

Ceremonials / Programs / Music / Necrology

Committee members will conduct initiation ceremony, celebration of Founder’s Day,  Chapter Birthday, plan programs, service projects, social events and Necrology ceremonies.

Bylaws / Constitution/ Legislation /Archives

Committee members will review Chapter Bylaws and determine areas that need to be  amended to stay in line with TSO and International Bylaws. They will then present the  recommended changes to chapter membership, update chapter bylaws according to  chapter vote, and send amended bylaws to TSO Bylaws and Rules Committee. They will ensure that chapter archives are properly filed and stored.
