Internal Complaints Procedure

1.        You may make a complaint to the licensed immigration adviser handling your immigration matter at any time if you have a complaint about any of the services that we have undertaken to provide to you in accordance with our written agreement. 2.        Within three working days of receiving your complaint, we will send you an acknowledgement of your complaint in writing.

3.        So that we can attempt to resolve it fairly and promptly between ourselves, we would be happy to meet with you at any time to discuss the nature of your complaint. You are welcome to bring a support person should you wish to such a meeting.

4.        We can also arrange for a mediator to attend the meeting if you wish.

5.        Within seven working days of meeting with you or receiving the full details of your complaint, we will formally reply to your complaint.

6.        If you are not satisfied with our response or remedy to your complaint, and you feel that we have demonstrated one or more of the following grounds for complaint - negligence, incompetence, incapacity, dishonest and misleading behaviour, or have breached the Licensed Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct - you may submit a complaint to the Immigration Advisers Authority (the Authority).

7.        A complaint made to the Authority must be in writing (Link to the IAA Complaint Form) and specify the ground or grounds that form the basis of your complaint.
