Welcome

I've put together this project page to help others that might be interested in building their own submersible ROVs. I'll try to make this as complete as possible but please let me know if there is anything missing or if you would like further information on anything in particular.

I have to give a lot of credit to Blue Robotics for making their designs available so that tinkerers like myself can have a solid platform from which to build our own creations. This ROV is based heavily on the BlueROV2 and much of the design credit goes to them. Their forums are also a great resource, full of awesome information by other builders.

While I used many off the shelf parts to build this, (precision parts that I would need a full machine shop to build), anything that I could build myself will be covered here. I've tried to build this as cheaply as possible while still being reasonably well performing.

I started this project as a personal challenge and I have certainly learned a lot!
