If you want a heavy-duty, rear-window mount that keeps two firearms locked in place without drilling into your truck bed or cab, choose Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack; if you need a versatile, headrest-mounted solution with extra storage for tactical gear and a lighter build, choose Clasextr Universal Vehicle Headrest.
• Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack: Strength lies in its thick steel alloy frame designed to resist torsion on rough terrain; trade-off is its specific fit for rear windows of pickups and ATVs rather than general passenger seating. Best for serious hunters and off-roaders who prioritize stability over interior flexibility.
• Clasextr Universal Vehicle Headrest: Strength comes from its adjustable clamps and MOLLE panel system for organizing small tools; trade-off is the aluminum construction which, while strong, offers less bulk resistance than solid steel under extreme vibration. Best for road trippers and casual outdoors enthusiasts who want easy access from the back seat.
• Who each pick is for: Choose Diyeeni if your primary goal is rugged, high-speed transport on trails; choose Clasextr if you value modularity and a lightweight design that fits any vehicle seat.
The Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack is engineered for one specific purpose: securing heavy outdoor gear in the rear window of a pickup, ATV, or UTV. Its core advantage is the heavy-duty steel alloy construction. This isn't a flimsy wire basket; it is a one-piece design built to withstand significant torsion and compression. When you are driving through bumpy backroads or cruising down a highway after a long day of hunting, this rack resists the shifting forces that can damage lighter mounts. The thick steel ensures that your firearms and bows stay exactly where you put them, preventing dangerous rattling or accidental drops during transit.
For families taking long road trips or hunters heading out for extended seasons, the ability to keep gear organized and accessible is critical. This rack holds two firearms securely, keeping them within easy reach so you do not have to dig through the cab or clutter the passenger area. The space-saving design maximizes the utility of your vehicle without blocking window operation or interfering with passenger seating. You get a complete 22-piece accessory set included, which suggests a robust setup intended to last through years of rugged use. The no-drill installation is a major plus here; you can mount this unit quickly without cutting into your vehicle's interior, preserving the factory finish while still getting a secure hold.

However, this product is not for everyone. If you drive a standard sedan or an SUV where the rear window geometry differs significantly from a pickup truck, this might not be the ideal fit. It is specifically designed for the rear window space of trucks and off-road vehicles. Furthermore, while the steel build is excellent for stability, it adds a certain weight and bulk compared to aluminum alternatives. If you need something that clips onto a seat back and folds away easily for city driving, the Diyeeni is too specialized. It is best suited for those who view their vehicle as a tool for the trail and need a mount that will not fail when the terrain gets tough.
The Clasextr Universal Vehicle Headrest takes a different approach by utilizing the space behind your front seats. Constructed from premium aluminum alloy, this rack offers outstanding strength and wear resistance while maintaining a lighter profile than steel options. The standout feature here is the universal and adjustable fit. With mounting clamps that range from 0.5 inches to 2 inches, this system adapts to most trucks, cars, SUVs, and off-road vehicles. You can flexibly adjust the position to find your ideal mounting spot, making it incredibly versatile for drivers who switch between different vehicles or need a customized setup for a single car.
What truly sets this apart for family road trips is the integrated MOLLE tactical panel design. While the Diyeeni focuses purely on holding guns, the Clasextr allows you to arrange flashlights, radios, hand tools, gloves, and other outdoor essentials directly on the seat-back space. This turns a simple gun holder into a command center for your gear. It makes full use of idle space that would otherwise go unused, keeping everything tidy and within arm's reach of the back seat passengers. The no-drill, non-destructive installation means you can install and remove it quickly without scratching or damaging your car interior, which is perfect for those who want a clean look when the gear isn't needed.
The trade-off with the Clasextr is the nature of its attachment point. Since it mounts to the headrest posts rather than the vehicle body or window, it relies on the stability of the seat itself. While the aluminum is durable, it may not offer the same absolute rigidity as a heavy steel frame bolted or clamped to a window frame under extreme conditions. It is an excellent choice for those who need a lightweight, adaptable solution that doubles as a gear organizer. It is ideal for hunters, campers, and families who want to keep their equipment secure and organized without committing to a permanent, bulky rear-window mount. If you value modularity and the ability to store more than just firearms, this is the superior choice.
• Best for extreme stability on rough terrain → Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack. The thick steel alloy and one-piece design are explicitly engineered to resist torsion and compression better than lighter materials.
• Best for versatility across multiple vehicle types → Clasextr Universal Vehicle Headrest. The adjustable clamps (0.5in to 2in) allow it to fit almost any seat post, whereas the Diyeeni is limited to specific rear window geometries.
• Best for organizing additional gear like tools and radios → Clasextr Universal Vehicle Headrest. The MOLLE panel provides dedicated space for accessories, a feature completely absent from the Diyeeni model.
• Best for heavy-load capacity with bows and arrows → Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack. Designed specifically to hold two firearms and large gear securely without shifting, maximizing the rear window space.
• Best for easy removal and non-damaging installation → Both products excel here. Both utilize no-drill methods, but the Clasextr is slightly easier to detach completely since it does not span the entire window width.
• Best for minimizing interior clutter → Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack. By moving all gear to the rear window, it clears up valuable cabin floor space and keeps the cab comfortable for passengers.
• Best for lightweight portability → Clasextr Universal Vehicle Headrest. Aluminum alloy construction makes it significantly lighter than the steel Diyeeni, reducing strain if you need to move it frequently.
• Best for dedicated off-road vehicles → Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack. Its specific design for ATVs, UTVs, and pickups targets the unique needs of these platforms more directly than a universal headrest mount.
I would buy the Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack for a family road trip focused on serious hunting or off-roading because the heavy-duty steel construction gives me confidence that my gear will not shift or rattle even on the worst roads. The ability to store two firearms and a bow securely in the rear window frees up the entire cabin for passengers and comfort. However, if your priority is a flexible setup that organizes extra tools and fits any vehicle seat without taking up window space, I would recommend the Clasextr Universal Vehicle Headrest. Ultimately, for pure stability and capacity, the Diyeeni wins in my opinion.
