Diwali Celebration at Nazareth Primary School on 8th October 2024
Nazareth Primary School celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and joy on 8th October 2024. The beautiful backdrop and the illuminated diyas created a festive atmosphere for the event.
The celebration began with an introduction to Diwali, explaining the significance and traditions of the festival. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp to mark the start of the auspicious occasion.
A prayer service was held to seek God's blessings for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all, setting a solemn tone for the celebration.
A creative presentation outlined the five important days of Diwali, adding an educational aspect to the festivities. This was followed by a melodious song celebrating Diwali as the festival of lights, along with a heartfelt poem in Marathi that captured the essence of the occasion, enriching the cultural experience.
