Mary and Richard Higgins first met an Irish Wolfhound in 1993 and fell in love. After researching the breed and talking to different owners and breeders for over 20 years, we welcomed our first IW as a surprise for Richard's 50th birthday.

Our desire was to find hounds from healthy bloodlines who have at least three generations of hounds living to 10 years or older without health problems.

A busy family with four children in middle school and high school, our hounds go with us everywhere. From Boy Scout and Girl Scout camps and meetings, to making new friends over morning coffee at Starbucks. We love to share our hounds with the public and in a small way educate those we meet, as well as visit schools and facilities and local parades.
