Here's her story:
God often writes straight with crooked lines, and it took me a long time to discover His plan for my life. After college, I moved to Chicago to pursue a career in marketing. One day, I noticed that the local church near my office was showing a movie about the life of Sister Faustina. I left work early to watch it, and it changed everything. I quickly devoured everything I could about her life, including her Diary, where she recorded the mystical experiences she had with Jesus, who revealed His boundless mercy to her. I fell in love with this devotion.
I eventually moved back home and, while working at Yale University, decided to take a two-week pilgrimage to Poland. There, I visited the places where Sister Faustina was born, baptized, grew up, and entered the convent. The journey culminated in Rome, where I had the profound honor of attending Sister Faustina’s beatification.
That experience was transformative. I left my job, joined the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, and spent a year as a postulant. I was then sent to Krakow for the summer, where I immersed myself even further in the beautiful message of Divine Mercy.
While God had other plans for me (I am married with a family), the Divine Mercy message and devotion has impacted my life forever. I want everyone to know about the depths of God's love and mercy for each of us!
