If you do not understand, are not sure about, or need more information concerning the
document(s) to be notarized, please seek the advice of an attorney before contacting me.
I am not allowed to translate documents in any language. If the document is written in a language different that English, and you understand the document to be notarized, please note the notarial certificate must be in English for me to perform a notarization.
If you do not understand, are not sure about, or need more information concerning the document(s) to be notarized in a language other than English, please seek the advice of a bilingual attorney before contacting me. Also, I must be able to understand the nature of the document being notarized and the terms of the notary certificate.
Also, I am not allowed to:
Give advice or help in preparing documents, and give advice on legal and immigration issues.
Issue an identification card.
Notarize a signature on a document that is dated after the actual date of notarization.
Perform any notarial act unless the signer is present.
Certify citizenship documents.
Make a certified copy of a publicly recorded or recordable document.
Publically recorded or recordable documents include:
Birth Certificates
Death Certificates
Marriage or Divorce Decrees/
Licenses Deeds
Mortgages, or other Real Estate documents
Probated Wills
Official School Records and Transcripts
Immigration Papers
Military Records
Texas Drivers’ Licenses
Last, I am not a certified signing agent (not yet), and I do not advertise as being one. When that changes, I will be sure to update my status on this website.
General information and useful reminders:
The signer must be present during the notarization.
There is absolutely no exception to this requirement!
Unless you make me aware BEFOREHAND that this will be a mobile transaction.
Please bring government issued photo identification, which contains a signature.
This includes a valid state issued driver's license, identification card, or a passport.
I cannot accept social security cards, credit cards, membership cards, employment identification cards, etc.
Please have the correct notarial certificate attached to the document you wish to have notarized.
I cannot notarize anything without it!
As for my service. I will take EFT , Money Order, and Zelle Payments,
Please fully understand the document you wish to have notarized, and make sure all dates on the document are before the day of the notarization.
Remember: I am not allowed to assist you with understanding the nature of the document(s).
Also, I am not allowed to assist with making changes to the document.
A translator can assist a non-English speaking signer with understanding the nature of a document to be notarized.
This requires both the signer and the translator be present when the notarization takes place. Also, the person translating for the signer must sign an affidavit to affirm the accuracy of the translation. (This requires a separate notarial certificate.)
I am bonded, insured and my Texas Notary commission is current. I am authorized to conduct business anywhere within The State of Texas.
