Post-Baccalaureate

• Alternative/Accelerated routes to STEM licensure (Teaching Internships/Teacher Residencies/Troops to Teachers/Teach for America): salaried as teachers of record and strongly supported via activities such as summer institutes, intensive site visits, condensed methods classes, teaching mentors, and so on (with a focus on underrepresented groups)
• Financial incentives for students from underrepresented groups with STEM degrees who join/graduate a STEM licensure program (Scholarships/Grants/Loans/Reduced tuition/Prior loan forgiveness/Delayed loan repayment)
• Alternative requirements for joining/finishing STEM licensure programs (waiving, lowering, or de-emphasizing standardized test scores, licensure exam scores, or GPA requirements, for example)
• Urban governmental and/or community-based partnerships with area teacher preparation programs to contact and recruit underrepresented residents with STEM degrees

As you can see, we are lacking project profiles to highlight in this section.
