About Me
I'm a research scholar at IIT Kanpur, digging into the exciting field of Materials Science & Engineering. Currently, I'm working alongside the brilliant Prof. Niraj Chawake.
I have done my B-Tech from VNIT Nagpur and my final year project was titled "Blast Furnace Iron Making in India: Detailed Study and Critical Analysis", under Prof Deepak Moghe.
Mechanical and Materials Research Laboratory MMRL
Our group carries out basic and application-oriented research on alloys, advanced metallic/intermetallic materials, and ceramics for structural applications. We focus on understanding structure-processing-microstructure relationships to develop and optimize particularly Superalloys, metallic alloys (ordered and disordered), and advanced ceramics for high-temperature applications. We combine various conventional mechanical testing and high throughput experiments to understand these materials' mechanical behavior. We also employ detailed microstructural/structural characterization and conjugate various mathematical and computational tools to understand the materials better.
