Divan ("the App") is a free offline library for classical Persian (Farsi) poetry. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect from you.
Information We Collect
The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, or any other personally identifiable information.
Poetry Content
The App downloads publicly available poet catalogs and poems from the Ganjoor open archive over the internet so they can be stored on your device and read offline afterward. Standard technical information (such as an IP address) is transmitted automatically as part of any internet request, but the App itself does not collect, log, or use this information.
Data Stored on Your Device
Preferences you set inside the App, such as bookmarked poets or poems, font size, font type, and light/dark theme, are saved locally on your device only. This information is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Advertising and Analytics
The App does not display advertisements and does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
