The SIM Registration Act requires all DITO subscribers in the Philippines to register their SIM cards to keep them active and secure. Failure to register can lead to permanent deactivation of your mobile services.
Follow this guide to complete your registration in just a few minutes.
Before opening the registration link, ensure you have the following ready:
A Valid Government-Issued ID (e.g., Passport, UMID, Driver’s License, PhilID).
A Clear Photo of Your ID (Max 2MB, JPEG or PNG).
A Selfie (Holding your ID or a live face scan).
Your DITO Mobile Number.
Download & Login: Open the DITO App on your smartphone.
Access Registration: Click the "Register Your SIM Card" banner on the home screen.
Input Details: Enter your DITO number and wait for the One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS.
Upload Documents: Fill in your personal information and upload your ID photo and selfie.
Submit: Review the details and click Submit. Save the Reference Number for future use.
Method 2: Via Web Browser
If you prefer using a desktop or don't have the app, visit the official portal:
Portal URL: https://ditosimregister.com/
Follow the same steps as the app method: Enter number > Verify OTP > Upload ID > Confirm.
If you encounter errors during the process, try these quick fixes:
OTP Not Arriving: Ensure your DITO SIM is inserted and you have a stable signal. Restart your phone if necessary.
Image Upload Failed: Ensure your ID photo is well-lit and the text is readable. If the file is too large, use a basic image compressor.
Incompatible ID: Make sure you are using a government-approved ID. Student IDs or company IDs are usually not accepted.
Once submitted, you will receive an SMS confirmation from DITO. You can also check your status within the DITO App under the profile section.
