Ditl is designed with privacy as a foundational principle. Our application is a standalone video stitching tool. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data, videos, or audio recordings with any third-party servers.

All video processing, stitching, and analysis happen entirely locally on your device using Apple API.

2. Permissions We Request

To provide our core video stitching functionality, Ditl requires the following permissions on your device:

Photo Library Access

• Read Access: We require access to your photo library to discover and read your videos so that we can stitch them into a summary.

• Write Access: We require permission to save the final stitched video summaries back to your photo library.

• Note: Your photos and videos never leave your device during this process.

Speech Recognition

• Local Processing: Ditl uses speech recognition to transcribe speech within your videos. This is used solely to evaluate and rank clips semantically to create better summaries.

• Complete Privacy: All speech recognition is performed locally on your device using Apple's on-device APIs. No audio data or transcriptions are ever sent to the cloud or any external servers.

3. Data Storage

Because Ditl operates entirely on your device:

• We do not maintain any user accounts.

• We do not store your videos, generated summaries, or usage history on external servers.

• Any data generated by the app (like your radial clock history layout or locally edited clips) is stored locally on your device and is not accessible by us.

4. Third-Party Services

Ditl does not integrate with third-party analytics or advertising frameworks that track your behavior. The application relies on native iOS features (like the native Share Sheet) to allow you to share your videos at your own discretion.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
