See attached for information. Meet 2x a year – October and January. Elections at SLC with voting delegates: “Family Representative” and “Members-at-Large Positions 1 and 3”.

March 3: Complete State Leadership Conference registration by March 3.

If you plan to attend the State FCCLA Conference in April, the Kansas official dress will be required on Tuesday and for many competitive events.
Kansas does not require the red blazer at our State events.
The Kansas official dress is:
Red, white or black polos or button-down shirts with black bottoms – black skirts or slacks
Skirts should be no more than 2” above the knee
Red blazers and black sheath dresses for ladies is another option
Black slacks, and red, white or black polos or button-down shirts for males
Red blazers with black or white button-down shirts with black slacks is another option for males
Prefer black shoes but not required

Feb. 1: On-line STAR Event member entries due- Registration for Digital Stories for Change, FCCLA Chapter Website, and Instructional Video Design is now open in the FCCLA Portal.

Send in application and video. 2022-2023 current peer ed members need to attend register and attend Feb. 27 to select the new teams.

SLC: April 16-18, 2023 – Competitive Events will be held at the Wichita Marriott except Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry. These will be held at the WSU Tech ‘NICHE’.
Time schedules will be posted mid-March.
General Sessions will be held at Century II Convention Center.

STAR Event Registration closes at midnight on Feb. 22. Payments for STAR Events are due March 31.
Payments must be received by March 31.
No refunds after March 31. Our policy is no refunds within 2 weeks prior the event due to cost commitments.
On the “Registration” page, be sure to complete all required items*.
On the next page: select “Add Members”. It is best to click on the “Search” Box instead of entering each name.
Use the drop-downs. Under ‘Select Participant Type’ – If they are a STAR Event participant, select the drop-down. If they are just attending for another reason, select “Student”.
Select the “Competition Level” and then “Continue” at the bottom of the page after you have selected all attending. You can just register STAR Event participants by Feb. 22 and make any other additions until March 3.
On the next page, select items for that individual – community service, Light the Night Memory Walk/Run, Monday lunch, LEO’s, Monday night entertainment, etc.
If you are not sure on these items for STAR Event participants, you can go back and add items later.
The following page is for selecting the STAR Event and giving a short topic/title.
Once you finish that participant, it will take you back to add more students/others.
When done, click on “View Registration” and then go back and click on Finished Registration and Submit.
If you do not click on “Finished Registration”, we do not receive the information and no one is registered.
If you make any changes, click on the “Finished Registration” each time or the changes are not submitted.
The state officers have been working very hard to make this conference a SUCCESS!!
