Braver

Be elegant in short and long-range combat

The Braver class is a hybrid class, specializing in being able to fully utilize two weapons of different damage types, similar to the bouncer.
Braver's have skills that allow them to identify weak-spots on their enemies and exploit them, either themselves or by feeding this information to an ally or allies to exploit, they also have bonuses to flanking with some abilities.
Bravers also have special skills for their Preferred weapons, such as an attack boost for countering an enemy attack for Katana, and a temporary sacrifice of damage to the bow's normal attack damage in favor of shooting 3 arrows at once.
Katanas are short-ranged melee weapons that strike a delicate balance between versatility and elegance. Katana has a Weapon Art for every situation and uses them with spectacular coolness that captivates the hearts of both allies and enemies.
If the Katana is the heated coolness of the Braver, the Bow is its cold majesty. Complementing perfectly the Katana's close-range potential, the Bow offers great long-range coverage. Contrary to the Katana, the Bow's attacks are generally not as extravagant, shooting cold, unfeeling arrows with a solidified intent to kill.
The Bow's accuracy is also dependant on stability: standing still will allow its arrows to hit more consistently their target while running-&-gunning will result in more than a few missed shots. Some of the Bow's Weapon Arts also require and enable followups and setups by combining different WA's into an exceedingly high single-target damage burst. The Bow does quite poorly in close quarters combat or against multiple targets.

Braver Gear | Counter Edge | Braver Combination

Katana GearGear rises after every round that you connect an attack.
As the Gear Gauge rises, The chance that Katanas will score a critical hit is increased. Gear Gauge resets upon being hit by an enemy attack.
[If the attack connects it must do 2 or more damage to disrupt gear accumulation]

Gear I - Gain +1 Damage. Increase critical threat range by +1 after 2 rounds of not missing.

Gear II - Gain +2 Damage. Increase critical threat range by +2 after 5 rounds of not missing.

Gear III - Gain +3 Damage. Increase critical threat range by +3 after 9 rounds of not missing.

Rounds need not be consecutive

Katana Counter

When an incoming attack cannot be avoided [Deals 2 or more damage and cause gear to reset] you can activate Katana Counter if in melee range of the target in question [or ranged with the bow if in possession of Braver Combination]
And make an attack against them by resetting your gear before the attack hits.
Gear I - up to two basic attacks. Gear II - Up to four Basic attacks.Gear III - Unrestricted. Can use full attack action if above 6 or more hits.Cost 1 Control per hit per target.
Counter Edge Katana Counter Can now be a Short-range adjacent square AOE when used at the cost of draining additional control per target hit.
Counter BonusGain 1d6 Hitpoints after a successful use of Counter.
Gain 1d4 hitpoints per target after a Successful use of Counter Edge.
Control cost for Counter Edge is 2 Control per target due to additional healing.

Bow GearAfter Every Successful Attack round with a bow you gain 1 gear point, after 10 gear points have been accumulated you may spend them to enter 'rapid shot mode' which lasts for 5 rounds.
While in this mode every pluck of the bow will dispense 3 arrows instead of 1, however, they only do 1/2 the marked damage after damage reduction is calculated, minimum 2, due to the speed that they are fired arrow damage type changes from Piercing to Ballistic until Rapid shot mode ends.
Bow Mastery At level 18 the 1/2 damage penalty is removed as the bow has been mastered fully.
Braver CombinationSwitching to a Bow while Katana Gear is active retains Katana Gear and applies the effect of Katana Gear to the Bow.Like Hero, Braver does not need to waste an action to switch between Katanas and Bows.
Bow counter Aoe is centered around the target shot and not the shooter.

Braver Aura

Braver's may switch between their Aura stances at the beginning of the combat round at the cost of 5 Control.
Average Aura [Default]Yourself and all allies within 30 feet gain +1 damage.
Weak AuraYourself and all allies within 30 feet gain +1 dice of damage but only when it's considered a weakness.
Ex: Hitting a fire weak enemy with fire or attacking a skeleton with bludgeoning damage since they have damage reduction to other types.
Auras stack with different Auras but not the same aura.
