Disney on Ice delights the young and young-at-heart. The performances are going to be unforgettable. However, there are still ways to make your attendance more memorable.
The performers aren’t the only ones who can put on Disney character costumes. Kids can suit up as Mickey, Woody or Tinkerbell. Girls can also wear princess outfits.
The costume doesn’t have to go from head to toe. You can simply get a crown or the so-called Mickey Mouse ears.
Not everyone is welcome to cosplay though. It’s only allowed for attendees who are 13 years old and younger.
As the event’s name suggests, the venue is bound to be chilly. It should be a no-brainer to sport layers and bring coats. However, some attendees still need a reminder. Enjoy this chill place during your stay at Grand Plaza hotel London.
Before the show, you can shop for some toys and souvenirs right outside the venue. Don’t expect budget-friendly prices though.
If you don’t want to splurge, you can bring your kid’s own toys instead. You can order a bundle of glow in the dark toys beforehand. Aside from bringing it to the show, your child can use it for Halloween, Christmas parties and many other events.
Allow your child to bring his or her own Disney character figure as well. One should be enough. Make sure your toy can be connected to a lace. You can tie the lace around your child’s wrist or bag. Otherwise, he or she might end up misplacing the toy.
Disney on Ice shows aren’t made up of the same performances. For the 2019 tour, attendees have five options to choose from.
Book your stay at our hotel South Kensington in advance, if you’re an avid fan of Disney movies and enjoy the 100 Years of Magic. Fifty characters from movies like Frozen, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King will form part of the show.
Frozen! is ideal for those who love the tale of Elsa, Anna and Olaf. Disney princesses take center stage in Dare to Dream.
Characters from Cars, Frozen and Toy Story will entertain attendees of Worlds of Enchantment. Mickey’s Search Party will feature Captain Hook and Tinkerbell. Olaf, Woody and other beloved characters may also show up.
If you’re going to watch with kids, ask them who they want to see. Inform them about characters they will and won’t see on certain shows. One thing’s for sure: Mickey Mouse will be a part of all shows.
Disney on Ice 2019 will take place on different venues in London. You can ride the tube and drop off at Wembley Park for the November 17 show. If you’re going to one of the shows at The O2, you can alight at the North Greenwich Tube Station.
