MARIE GILLIGAN THERAPY (AKA Mari G-The Smart Woman's Therapist) is an Online Hypnotherapy and Energy Healing service specialising in Women's Health and Wellness, specifically women 40+ who are wanting a total life transformation as they move into their second chapter of life.

I’ve worked with hundreds of women over the last 8 years or so, who have come to me with feelings of low self-worth and self-esteem, no confidence and feel that they are never again going to be happy. The majority of these women have gone through a marriage, relationship or separation which has left them confused, drained, full of regret and blaming themselves.

These women have been people-pleasers for most of their adult life. They are at a loss when finding themselves in the life of a single person as this is all new and extremely confusing. They are wondering "what the hell happened and how did I get here" and their focus turns to just being able to survive - this is natural - but of course, there is a much better way!

I have shown many women how to regain their identity, show themselves some self-love and care and how to learn what actually makes them happy and get them on the path to re-iventing the next chapter of their life to be full of love, happiness and freedom.

I have witnessed many of these transformations and I watch these women smile and love themselves again like it was the first time!

When my clients finally realise their life is going to be much better and happier from now on – the excitement in their voice in evident and the look on their face is just one of absolute relief at seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

And this is what makes it all worthwhile.

Life took an unexpected turn. I found myself unable to manage with the changes that my children and I had to make, I was very emotional, not able to think clearly and certainly not able to help my children through the process.

As a mother its hard to put yourself first, however as Marie reminded me, I needed to heal myself before I could help my children. I am a believer that people come into your life when you need them most.

I had never used hypnotherapy previously, so I talked to Marie and felt comfortable with the method she used and the program she had developed specifically to help me, and not a "one size fits all" approach.

I found I quickly started to feel more in control of my emotions and improved greatly each week. After 6 weeks I was feeling back on top of everything and was now able to be strong for my children. The most important part, as a mother, my children notice the difference and have also been much stronger.

Marie helped greatly with the issue that I believed I was dealing with and through our discussions, Marie found my self-confidence, self-esteem, and my ability to clean out the old and move on with the new could also do with a boost and she adjusted my plan to suit.

I first reached out to Marie for help in dealing with post natal depression/severe rage episodes. I was on the highest dose possible of medication which kept wearing off and seeing a psychiatrist who wanted to add in an additional pill to see if that helped.

I truly felt like we weren’t addressing whatever the underlying issue was and we’re just covering it with a band-aid (medication). My program with Marie was truly transformative. Her ability to tailor the session specifically to my needs and know exactly what would help me heal was amazing.

Every session brought forward something different or unexpected, but not in a way that caused me to have any negative emotions or have to relive anything. It felt like I was watching a movie of my memories. Some memories which I had suppressed but clearly my sub-conscious mind had not dealt with properly.
