We are KKN UMRAH Group 36, a group of students from Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji who carried out our community service program in Mapur Island, Bintan. Through this website, we aim to introduce the beauty, local life, businesses, homestays, and unique potential of Mapur to a wider audience. We created Discover Mapur as a simple digital platform to help people learn more about the island while supporting local communities and promoting their products and services. Most importantly, this website is our way of sharing the stories and potential of Mapur with both local and international visitors. 

Hi, I’m Daniel Cristiano, an English Education student at Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH). I am truly grateful for the opportunity to lead KKN UMRAH Group 36 during our time in Mapur Island. This experience has taught me that being a leader is not only about guiding a team, but also about listening, learning, and growing together with the people around us. Throughout our journey, I tried my best to coordinate the team, support our programs, and create something meaningful for the Mapur community. Discover Mapur is one of the things we created together, and I hope it can continue to introduce the beauty, people, and local potential of Mapur to a wider audience.
