Course Description: In the “Discover Engineering” course, participants explored various disciplines of engineering through academic lectures and classroom discussions. They’ll also gained practical experience through hands-on projects that involve designing, building and testing, and learned how to conduct research using design thinking and the engineering design process. Participants also get the chance to visit relevant sites around Los Angeles to see the various challenges and opportunities professional engineers face.
